10.30 am prompt start for long walk Michael Weale will lead this walk of about 4 miles. Depart as usual at 10.30 am. from the main car park at Stourhead (free for NT members). Returning to The Spread Eagle for lunch at about 1.00 pm. A couple of hills (undulations) but mostly level and no stiles. Michael looks forward to your company on this walk.
11.30 am start for short walk John Hedges will lead this walk of about 1 mile along the paths towards Alfred’s tower. Meet at the old stone arch about 1 mile past The Spread Eagle. John hopes to re-establish the short walking group and promises – about a mile, never any styles, gentle pace and of course the Convivial Lunch afterwards. Lunch is booked for 1.00 pm

Pubs have suffered from a number of ‘No Shows’ from groups of our size and people not paying for their meal so the booking has only been accepted on these conditions.
- Your meal will have to be pre-ordered on Tuesday 30th June
- Food is to be paid for before sitting down at the pub and could you make sure that you get a receipt
